Do you see an issue with it? No, it's not the ad covering what looks like it's a nice view of a church. It's that couple I accidentally took a picture of. Notice the selfie stick they have? "Oh," you think, "what a weird couple to actually use one of those!" But no. That is the problem. They are not the weird couple because EVERYONE IS USING THOSE STUPID THINGS!
When it stopped raining the other day, the peddlers (who are annoying) no longer could sell (admittedly useful) umbrellas. So naturally they would start selling something else useful, right? WRONG! Everyone of them is selling....selfie sticks.
What. The. Heck.
This is an epidemic. This must be stopped. And if one more Italian-Indian fellow comes up to me and says "Selfie?" I am going to put that stick someplace it ought not go.
This has been a PSA on the selfie stick. Carry on.
(Seriously people, do you realize how dumb you look with that thing? At least in America we know it's a joke.)
Selfie sticks are awesome. Ask your sister-in-law Alli!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, my husband and I took a trip out west (lots of hiking and cool landmarks). When we got home we realised we didn't have a single picture with the two of us in it. So I can understand the value for people too shy or too remote to have other people take a picture for them :)
ReplyDeleteStands to reason you need to invent a selfie stick that converts to an umbrella!
ReplyDeleteDonna!
